He's an actor who will say or do most anything for money and he discovered something that The Church found out 1000+ years ago. It's far easier to get a dime each from 100,000 poor, ignorant, fearful people than it is to find one intelligent. well educated, content person to give you $10,000.
He panders to the poor, the fearful and the ignorant and gets rich as a result.
