It's about 80% positive that I will be moving to Myrtle Beach in the next 2-6 months.
I've been there once for a bike week.
Anyone have any recommendations for areas to look for a house? I have to stay in that general area because of the kids.
Otherwise I'd be looking in Charleston.

Any recommendations on good food. Locals only places. Off the beaten path.

Can't help you. Just remember, you will always be a Jersey girl.

Carolina Forest was a pretty nice area last time I visited, newly constructed homes and apartments. That was several years ago, though.
As far as food, there were a few dives (seafood, of course) that I loved and were off the channels. I forgot the names and where they were located exactly. If I remember, I'll revisit here.

If you do move, good luck. I have had some family members who loved living there, others hated it.

Obviously, you are not asking for Craigslist.

$60K, 3 bedroom, 2200' +2car garage, acre, small town with trees, about 40 road miles from myrtle beach.

If you avoid the Baptists, I think you'll be OK.

I plan on wearing my Yankees t shirt as often as possible.
