I only know of Fukintroll from the tap, tap, tap thread I just recently got to read. Yeah, he was hilarious.
He definitely was fun, deep, a gent, and interesting to read.

Online trolls don't much bother me either. At most, they can steal a few seconds of my attention, but otherwise, I'm fairly indifferent to them. M

But on a larger scale, a shift toward one preference or another should be noted by the site owners. They may decide that they want to make changes and not risk losing participants, or they may decide that the risk isn't worth the trouble.

I agree. But, I believe there is a difference between a group asking for something and some of the people that have been here recently stomping their feet because the site isn't run to their liking.

I didn't see that the OP was criticizing the site owners or how it's run. It seemed like it was being addressed at the other forum participants. I don't think the OP was suggesting that the owners of this site are trolling their own forum. I don't even know who the owners are. For all I know, the OP could be the owner of the site telling everyone to shape up. [;)]

Never at any point did I say the OP was criticizing the site owners or how it's run. My response was a direct response to Kaliko and was a commentary on some of the recent behavior of some people posting here lately. It actually is an agreement with the OP.

Agreed [:D].

Well given that you have rightly cast The net wide it is true that most people who write thread responses are frequently belligerent. So that means most of us are trolls. We come online looking for people to antagonise and insult for our perverse amusement. Socks accussing socks.

I never before heard of trolls but I have heard of the troggs a 1960s era pop group.

royalarchmason -> RE: Trolls A few good men and women (1/23/2016 8:45:54 AM)

Where would this website and its message boards be without we trolls? We each play our part in keeping the message boards open and full of interesting topics like the popular sock puppets. We bring laughter to all and are a constant talking point.
