I've heard a little about this, but not nearly this much..having just finished up my mammogram, it's in the forefront of my mind.  The "ignorance" of both the public and the medical community is scarey.

Thanks :)

I passed it along through my messenger list.... Thank you for a valuable link and information!!

Thank you, we were just speaking of this last night, and it is undectable in a mammo--it appears like a pimple on the outside they tell Me---so yes women heed this warning!

I  have a good friend from golf that had inflammatory breast cancer, so she warned all of us to reserach it. Hers started with a small red spot. She is doing well now after a masectomy and chemo.

The video never stopped loading for me, for whatever reason...

If this is about Inflammatory Breast Cancer, then here is a link to a good resource for that subject:

you can also go to webmd.com and it shows a drawing. Just search for inflammorty breast cancer.

The scariest part, for me, is how few doctors are aware of it..

Wow, i didn't know that, thank you so much for the info.  My very best frend had breast cancer when she was 36, she lost one breast and is fighting on, only a few months to go before she is offically in'remission'.  Another friend died aged 30 leaving a young daughter, she didn't get help quicly enough and sadly it was too late when she did, the sad thing was that everyone always used to joke about her non exisitant boobs, but they killed her in the end.

MasterCurios -> RE: Urgent Message a Must see for all (7/8/2006 6:23:20 PM)

THANK YOU   i will ensure my pet looks into it

Royalton -> RE: Urgent Message a Must see for all (7/9/2006 11:26:09 PM)

I am a guy.  I've got it 2 years ago.  No nodes, just pain and redness.   I went to the doctor because the seatbelt was very uncomfortable.  Got a mastectomy, some meds and a little scar under the nipple.

Owned1 -> RE: Urgent Message a Must see for all (7/12/2006 11:05:54 PM)

thank you for reminding everyone this is not just a female cancer.  Men have breasts and yes they can also get breast cancer.  No where does it suggest men do monthly breast exams, they need to be aware.

cheers
