The clouds plod, plod, plod across,the sky
Mundane weight on a spirit tied by a contract unsigned
Impetuous the flower struggles under the gloom
Undaunted, but unfulfilled.

He offers a break in the clouds
A beam of light. Of life. Of direction.
Of purpose. Of full and open bloom.
Validated and fulfilled.
As she must be.
