Not that people are fakes, more like even the most desperate guys on here can smell someone who doesn't come off as genuine, as someone looking for a quick buck, etc. Among other things, if I understand fin domme correctly, it is still a relationship, virtual or otherwise, and I suspect that with those who practice fin domme, they actually get to know the subs first, establish something with them, before things begin (maybe one of the fin dommes on here could comment on that, I could be wrong). On top of everything else, the post and the profile are written like someone who has been told "there are a bunch of men out there, suckers, who if you proclaim yourself a fin domme, will send you money if you make them feel like the degraded piece of shit they are", it plays out like some 4th rate erotic fiction idea of what a domme of any kind is, so if people don't respond to it, not surprised..especially since guys into that kind of thing are pretty rare IME.

I don't blame TN Fin Domme for getting upset with this person using the term 'fin domme', it isn't about style or about being real, it is about someone who quite frankly makes it harder for others who are doing it to ply their trade. Charlatans in any business make it harder for others, just ask a good used car dealer what their image is like, and lawyers spend a lot of time bitching about their image, because of the less than ethical types who have made their profession the butt of many jokes, where a civil rights lawyer is lumped in with the guy advertising if you have had any kind of accident, or anything at all, they will sue and make you money *shrug*. Same way that in the early 70s the gay leather community in NYC faced real problems with abusive,'bad tops', and they reacted by educating the community about the difference between abuse and consensual play, and also openly publicized the names and descriptions of 'bad tops' known to be out there, to try and prevent others from being hurt, there is a line there somewhere. She felt that this person and people like them gave her trade a bad name, as pro dommes do with 'hookers with a whip' do, and spoke up,as is her right.

Well said. I have seen allot on fin Dom's say they do have an initial tribute but then generally a gift of something to five or ten bucks, it is not for the money it is part of the kink and I think that is the difference here. Financial Domination is a kink, and i can understand it, for example being able to go to a spa and eat expensive chocolate while you know the sub is back home eating dry bread, having the heat turned down low and having had to skip meals to be able to afford you that luxury. I can see how that idea for example can be a turn on for both parties, but then it is not about the money, yes there is money involved but money becomes a tool for the kink like a whip or a didldo, it is a way to have control and to make the sub feel like he is serving. The problem is that with the original poster's profile it sounds to be about the money and just the money and I can not imagine many guys being into just that.

I mean it is not that easy, being a Dominant is an art, it involved getting under the sub's skin. If it was as easy as just getting on cam and saying piggy, piggy, piggy and the cash started flowing in then who wont not do that. I mean occult books are not cheap I could say piggy piggy and a few harsher words as well quite often if that would give me a fat bank account but it do not work like that. A Fin Dom is a Dominant, it is a kink, and if her heart is not in it and it is just abut the money then I think most subs would be able to feel that.

I wish you well
