I watched the season 3 premier last night and I must have lost something from the previous season. Why is Sarah Linden a ferry worker now and did I notice something at the beginning of the show that she was in a mental health facility ? For a little while there I was thinking I missed the previous season but I think I must have forgotten something from it. I also noticed Billy Campbell isn't playing the part of Holder. Does anyone know what gives ?

I do. Linden had talked about quitting since season 1. Season 3 shows that she did (wasn't an actual scene) by having her work on the ferry. No mental facility that I saw. Billy Campbell played Richmond and was killed in the season 2 finale. Joel Kinnaman has always played Holder.

Hmmmm.........I guess I'll have to watch that beginning part again if I get it on demand. I don't know why I thought Holder was Billy Campbell, duh. Thanks though, that clears up a few things.

You were right about the mental health facility. That was from the very beginning of season 1. She was obsessed with a murder case.
