I was curious how other Dom/me’s interact in a structured scene. I received some very good posts on the Captive Play thread that were about very structured scenes. When I orchestrate a scene I expect to have control over it and have the participants play their parts in that scene. Just as if I am participating in someone elses scene I know Thay have an idea of what the parts are and I’ll happily play my part, evil twisted mind f*cker is my favorite, but I’ll play what I am handed.  For the most part getting sub/slaves to play their role is pretty easy. How do you other Dom/me’s play with the role you are asked to play in scene?

P.S. Just ate boo koo pain pills and will hang in as long as I can.

We talk and establish where we want to go beforehand and then we just get into it- feed off of eachother's energy and enjoy.  The best times I've had are when I can banter with the other top and build on our mutual ideas.  When everyone's there to just have a good time and create a good experience, it's really not that difficult.

I rarely get into scenes where there are roles to act upon based on personality, more that we'll each have a job to do- they will do the caning while I will work on the clothespins and such.

Interesting question.  I normally do not do well with structure.  I tend to be a spur of the moment run with the flow type.  (Lucky for me my little one is the same way)  One of the more fun parts of life is when I wander off in the middle of play and she can hear me rummaging in the toy box having no idea of what I might bring back or what is about to happen.  This can make things difficult when working with others, but if another dominant is playing with us then they are usually there for a specific reason.  This dictates that the nature of the play and everyones parts are worked out before hand, if my little one is the target of the attention then I expect to have control to protect  her safety.  Playing with another dominant in their scene I am more than happy to follow what ever path they wish.

I find it very difficult to gain any enjoyment from playing a role that diverges much from who I really am. It just feels too theatrical for me.

me and my pet play the roles given to us if it is someone elses scene but when i orchestrate it i expect the others to do likewise for we play with those we know and respect...

In the scenes I've participated in where there was more than one Dominant involved... there was no real "discussion".... the "roles" were simple... We were the Dominant Men, they weren't... We just fed off each other and whatever happened... happened.

Much like what LA described.

I will get a little more specific. Interrogations scenes, captive scenes, etc...

Again for me the only difference is that one of us can go get drinks and lay out instruments for the other and we can take turns to give eachother a rest break in between.
