I feel like you should have a general idea of what you want in a D/s or M/s relationship and what you look for in a partner. The relationship itself however will grow and evolve just as you would with a new partner.

Yes. As if kinks were more important then anything else. As a person, we grow, we change, so naturally, our interests and opinions about things will too. That's much more important then whether i like my cuffs to be in steel or furry-bunny pink like. (that was just an example :P )
