Whilst I can't give you particular advice on your problem, I would recommend to you asking for such advice on facebook Jason Vale as well. He is on there with his nikname Juicemaster and he does marathons himself as well so he might understand well what your problem is...

Most of the time he as well as his team do answer such food related questions as their "mission" is about healthy nutrition and people getting fitter again, so you would be spot on with such a question there...

Late update:

Well it turns out my running problem wasn't so much a runner's problem as a symptom of developing lactose intolerance. In retrospect I have had so many 'off' days this year I should've guessed it was something like this. I even had blood tests done because I had so many minor sicknesses, with nothing found of course. No one is my family is lactose intolerant, and during pregnancy I drank huge quantities of milk every day, so I never suspected it could be an issue.

Now I feel 50% 'oh man, that's most of my favourite foods out!' and 50% relief that's all it is.

Thank goodness I know how to cook though. I never realised how pervasive dairy is in packaged foods, even things which I wouldn't expect.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

Well, that's kind of a bummer. Definitely nice for you to know, though.

How's the running coming?

i do mma training and i had similar issues with my stomach which is rough because you can't really say to your sparring partner, "hey buddy, if you don't want me to sick up all over you i'd stay away from body shots ok? ;) "

in my case i'd changed my diet dramatically to start getting into real shape in the first place so i started by eliminating the foods i'd started eating that were farthest from what i had been eating before i developed stomach nasties. cutting out a certain type of protein bar and hard boiled eggs fixed me up more or less.

so start with the most exotic/recently introduced foodstuff in your diet and work your way in.

also if you're on supplements, assume those are the most likely culprits.

edit: i just read your most recent post. disregard all this obv. like i guess i could erase the whole post but i really do try to mention that i do mma training as often as possible.

Ya beat me to it, I was going to suggest lactose intolerance. There are milk and cheese products for the lactose intolerant, plus I seem to recall those with lactose intolerance lack the lactase enzyme to digest it, and there are over the counter pills you can take that basically give you the enzyme you need, so if you like dairy products you may not have to eliminate them entirely.
