How do you post your own pictures instead of the ones they have to choose from?...the "avatar" or whatever on the left hand side of your posts?

if you mean the vanilla icecream cone it is a symbol that changes based on the number of posts you make. Um if you are talking about some other picture thing I have no idea, the photo that comes up when I post here is on my profile. welcome to the forums.

there is gold lettering in the upper right hand corner of this called profile.......just slosh around in there and there is a radio button to do the duty.
