on christmas day, my dominant is wanting me to become her christmas tree for the day. her parents live in a big house and so i'll have to be stood in different rooms - dining room during christmas dinner etc. And possibly go on a walk with everyone. The family know about her dominant tendancies and find it cool and it's all open. But - any clue how the hell i become a christmas tree? I know it's months away but thought i'd get it underway!

If it were Me, I'd pierce you with some hooks to hang ornaments from.

There's always the wax option. Light you up with candles or decorate you with various things made of wax.

CBT option of hanging bells from your junk.

Wrap you in ribbons or use medical staples to decorate you with garland.

If you're going to be a tree, there are a lot of options.

Wax sounds fun, but there is apparently going to be some moving room to room. You could start with a green Zentai suit.

Zentai suit for comedy if nothing else. Perhaps you could get some dark green tulle and loop it round your torso, arms and legs so it sticks out like dozens of mini tutus. It would give you lots of sticky out bushy bits to dangle decorations from. Very difficult to go to the bathroom though.

Or go old school and chop up an artificial tree, hold a bit in each hand and attach some to a hat.

Near Christmas you will be able to get LED lights which are battery powered and don't get hot. You could tuck the battery packs in around your belt and wrap the lights around your limbs.

Also: pictures of this unconventional celebration would be awesome.

I'd find clothing with Christmas trees embroidered on them, and then start sewing ornaments to it. But not glass ones. Soft ones. Make sure you can sit down, remove the clothing to help serve dinner if necessary. And I'd practice moving, serving, eating, sitting with it on.

I like this idea! Perhaps find a "Christmas tree skirt" to use as a Christmas tree skirt. ;) Plus it could be easily stored for next year. :)

Just hope they don't all get drunk and try lighting candles on you. Oh, and make sure they keep you well-watered, so your needles don't start falling off.

I assume you mean that her family is specifically OK with the notion of you being a tree in different rooms. That's not something I would put in anyone's face without their knowledge and permission.

I like Athena's suggestion of the costumes from Amazon. Probably the easiest way to do things and much more literal than the green suit.

All kidding aside, since the OP asked a sincere question, he can either go to one of those craft stores and pick up some wreath hoops and fake evergreen branches to attach to them, or he can go this route and buy a ghillie suit. Yeah, it'll make him look more like Swamp Thing with lights and decorations, but it's quick and easy. Oh, and definitely use battery-powered lights, it's no fun explaining to the authorities how that guy dressed as a Christmas tree got electrocuted.

Actually if he googles Christmas tree costumes he'll get enough images to help him make one of his own. Or indeed, buy one from Amazon.

Oh yes, good idea, wreath hoops plus hula hoops in different sizes, attached to some sort of braces which go over his shoulders (like clown pants) and/or round his waist like the bones of a Victorian underskirt. Wrapped around with those long garlands of fake pine branches.

I suppose it depends how realistic he wants to be, how goofy everyone likes it, and whether it needs to seem kinky.

Ghillie suit is pretty cool too, never seen that before.

You can even buy a kit and make your own ghillie suit, which means he can use the fake branches from the craft store. DesFIP has a good idea, but buying a costume isn't the same as creating one. I used to use one when I hunted coyotes out west to make myself look like a bush when I was calling them in, and turkey hunters use them a lot, too. They were first used by gamekeepers in Scotland, I believe.

Personally I like the Silver & gold versus the Red & Green.

Now here is a good base for the silver. Now just add gold garland. Battery operated fast eddy lights can easily be added too. No hooks required, duct tape holds everything :)

Might be a titch extreme for a family gathering, but at least you thoughtfully provided a convenient location for hanging mistletoe.
