Enders' Game hits theaters this November. I've been waiting a long time to see this movie. It's great it wasn't made before the special effects could keep up. It's great they picked Harrison Ford, I think he will be able to handle it. Especially if he watches a Jack Nicholson movie every night for a week beforehand. It's great Orson Scott Card is co-producing. If you trust me, then just see the movie. Don't read the book or the Wiki or see the trailers, that'l just tip you off about the plot. I was surprised, pleasantly, when I saw a trailer going to see the movie "Red2" (okay, I love John Malkovich and Helen Mirren, shoot me).....I am both excited and worried, because it would be easy to foul the book up turning it into a movie...(still have not found a film treatment of a Raymond Chandler novel i liked)...still, hopefully they did it justice. Harrison Ford cannot save a bad movie, alas, he and Daniel Craig are great actors, but Cowboys Vs Aliens stunk IMO.

I read the book 28 years ago. I guess I'll actually have to go see it in a theater, if I want to encourage them to make "Speaker For the Dead."

Usually my tastes are pretty 'alternitive', so I'm often consigned to appreciate the things I do solo. I'm glad you liked it.

I have read it multiple times by now. And the rest in the series. I enjoy Card's writing.
