All fantasies/desires are valid. As long as they are safe, sane and consentual. There is nothing wrong or shameful about what you wish to experience. My reparation comment was tongue in cheek. Your counterpart will out there somewhere. She will guide you along your path allowing you to experience your desires. You seem to be very open and honest and that goes a long way.

There are a lot of fine therapists in the world,

when I was a therapist, I had the illusion I could "fix" people.

I've only been on this forum a week,
and already I think it's one of the healthiest corners of the 'net.

The guy thinks he wants to submit to a black woman,
... and then he gives us his "logical mind" reason.
None of us here are kinky because of our "logical mind" reasons...
..... but it's my opinion it all comes from the dark matter hidden in our souls.

I don't know the guy,
but I suspect he'll do better chatting here

than take the long-shot-chance of finding a decent therapist to "fix" him.

now that's a good point dubious. the op's chances of finding a decent dom of any color desired are significantly better than his chances of finding a therapist that won't do damage.

I am sure there is genuine "race play" happening "out there", but it also occurred (to me) that for some folk who might be either less experienced or feel a little "dirty" (initially) exploring bdsm - that "race play" in the context you describe it might just "legitimize" doing bdsm activities more than not having that scenario to play out. I actually am just tossing that out, and it sounds a little too "Fruedian" even to me - it is not that serious a comment because - I have no idea if you are a relative "newbie" or not.

Personally, I am white and have fantasized about being black and having a white "Master" - I just think race play could be construed as very, very "hot" (and have an active imagination) - and also realize some probably find it offensive (hopefully, those people won't write in an _itch about the topic) - nobody who hates the idea would ever have to do it, right?

I also realize that because I am white I haven't probably had to put up with even 20%, of the _rap that some black people have had to deal with (so, no offense - to anyone intended). Good luck finding what you're looking for.
