Long ago, high school, circa 1973, late at night at a friends parents cottage. There was certainly a lot of drinking going on, and though I don't specifically remember tripping, there is a strong possibility some LSD was involved.
Six of us seated around a round table, a few more spectators, candle light only. We all placed our fingertips on the table and began chanting "Table up, table up, table up....." It took a while but that table rose into the air, and slowly turned in a circle. Questions were asked and answered, in the form of the table dipping and tapping one leg on the floor. Only a couple of questions, as on guy got impertinent, and was thrown against the wall. The table dropped to the floor, and it was over.
