A Fallen Angel
a fallen angel with broken wings
this fallen angel came to me
the fears in her cries
and tears in her eyes
seemed to make her kindred to me
the fallen angel with broken wings
this fallen angel told to me
of her tortured years
of life little with cheers
and found her truly kindred of me
a fallen angel with broken wings
this fallen angel asked of me
she asked the questions a slave will ask
the questions i remember from my past
and knew why she felt kindred of me
to the fallen angel with broken wings
i told the fallen angel listen to me
she listened with all her heart and soul
within my weak words she found her goal
and now is kindred to me
no more a fallen angel with broken wings
but a beauty every the soul could see
within the thorns of strife
now lives a rose of life
now i wish to be kindred of thee
