LarneMaster -> Introduction to femdom (10/29/2013 1:32:01 PM)

Hi,

My wife read fifty shades a while ago, and our sex lives developed a kinky side.

What I am wondering is, are there any books out there like fifty shades, but written from the perspective if a dominant woman? I know there are a few, but covers look a bit tacky, so any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

My dream would be for her to become dominant, but I would like to gauge her reaction to a book written from a dominatrix position. Either way its not a deal breaker for us, but would be cool if there was something out there.

Thanks

Dave

somebody will be along with a link to a list. Uh, the tacky covered ones are probably mindporn and that is not too close to reality.

You are aware, I hope that "50 Shades" and other fictional BDSM stories have about as much to do with real life BDSM as the James Bond movies have to do with real life espionage?

I am curious, however as to why your profile text is so contradictory to what you way in your OP. According to it, you've "done my time as a submissive" and are interested in being dominant.

Had a rethink of that lol, not for me, really must update.

I know what you mean about the fiction thing, but just want to see what sort of reaction I would get if I could find something similar from a femdom perspective

Any of the books by claudia varrin

A second vote for Claudia Varrin. I have two of her books that I enjoyed.

The book list that folks mentioned can be found here. http://www.collarchat.com/m_1726118/tm.htm

Here's a third vote for Claudia Varrin. Have you considered going to a local dungeon as observers and watching her reaction to the Dommes in the club? Most people who attend are very willing to talk about their experiences and you will see a variety of interactions. Some will appeal to you and others will not, but all will be much more realistic than a book. Munches are also good; however, the power exchange will often be too subtle for a novice to perceive. Clubs also offer you the opportunity to be a wallflower and simply observe if you're not ready to get into a lengthy conversation. Most clubs offer first timers a tour of the facility after paying admission and all clubs I've been to give you a breakdown of the rules.

This sounds like a good idea, but from what i know of the scene here in northern Ireland there are no clubs etc.

If anyone can correct me I would greatly appreciate it

No clubs in Belfast? I find that hard to believe.

Get on fetlife, type in 'Belfast' and see all the groups and events listed there. Go to some munches and make friends, and in all likelihood you'll find out about even more clubs and parties.

I went onto the Fetlife "Groups" page and searched "Belfast UK" and this is what I came up with:
https://fetlife.com/groups/search?utf8=%E2%9C%93&q=belfast+UK

Also, I searched the net and found this:

I searched that site and found this:
