Owner59 -> geopee sabotage of ACA......Don`t act like you`re surprised. (11/5/2013 8:51:01 AM)

It was a given.....

Did anyone believe the cons were upset that the website overloaded?

Was anyone surprised that the party that tricked 4400 American soldiers into getting killed is calling for an impeachment of the President over the website/rollout glitches?

"To the undisputed reasons for Obamacare’s rocky rollout — a balky website, muddied White House messaging and sudden sticker shock for individuals forced to buy more expensive health insurance — add a less acknowledged cause: calculated sabotage by Republicans at every step.

That may sound like a left-wing conspiracy theory — and the Obama administration itself is so busy defending the indefensible early failings of its signature program that it has barely tried to make this case. But there is a strong factual basis for such a charge."

But the bitter fight over passage was only the beginning of the war to stop Obamacare. Most Republican governors declined to create their own state insurance exchanges — an option inserted in the bill in the Senate to appeal to the classic conservative preference for local control — forcing the federal government to take at least partial responsibility for creating marketplaces serving 36 states — far more than ever intended.

Then congressional Republicans refused repeatedly to appropriate dedicated funds to do all that extra work, leaving the Health and Human Services Department and other agencies to cobble together HealthCare.gov by redirecting funds from existing programs. On top of that, nearly half of the states declined to expand their Medicaid programs using federal funds, as the law envisioned."

Alinskyist nutsackers sabotaging it from the inside.

Goebbelist nutsackers sabotaging it from the outside.

We knew.

No one has ever accused them of a vigourous social or infrastructure agenda for the american citizenry.

You said you're the only one fluent in Alinsky, having read it and all. Alinsky is the playbook of Progressivism. It's fun watching your definitions and attributions change. I'd swear you're an Obama speechwriter.

mnottertail -> RE: geopee sabotage of ACA......Don`t act like you`re surprised. (11/5/2013 10:49:27 AM)

Uh, no it aint the playbook of progressivism. Dick Armey handed it out to all the nutsacker gauleiters to read to learn, it is now the playbook of neanderthalism.  But you would have missed that, not being fluent in English language comprehension at lower gradeschool levels.

Your attributing words to others that they did not say, nor intend, is opera bouffe given your massive ineptitude in such endeavors.

Perhaps Armey did. So what? I've read Mein Kampf as to better understand. Doesn't make me a Nazi. Alinsky and Progressivism go hand in hand.

Well of course it does, the regressives dont want to improve government or society, they want to destroy it, in a transcend and perish Neitzschean way.  Auger the whole fuckoree in.  That's why they are so inept at it, having read the book and are a laughinstock.  It is like putting socks on a rooster to get nutsackers to attempt things that aren't purely uselessly irrelevant.

The neo-cons and progressives occupy different sides of the same coin. You know that.

not at all.   Wolfowitz, Cheney, W, Graham, Gingrich, Libby, Rumsfield, Rice.......nothing progressive about those shiteaters.

Reagan, and his ilk, fuckheads one and all.

wasters and destroyers.   they don't occupy the same fucking universe as progressives.

Here is the ostensible philosophy of these fucking wastrels:

Today's neo-conservatives unite around three common themes:

A belief deriving from religious conviction that the human condition is defined as a choice between good and evil and that the true measure of political character is to be found in the willingness by the former (themselves) to confront the latter.
An assertion that the fundamental determinant of the relationship between states rests on military power and the willingness to use it.
A primary focus on the Middle East and global Islam as the principal theater for American overseas interests.
In putting these themes into practice, neo-conservatives:

Analyze international issues in black-and-white, absolute moral categories. They are fortified by a conviction that they alone hold the moral high ground and argue that disagreement is tantamount to defeatism.
Focus on the "unipolar" power of the United States, seeing the use of military force as the first, not the last, option of foreign policy. They repudiate the "lessons of Vietnam," which they interpret as undermining American will toward the use of force, and embrace the "lessons of Munich," interpreted as establishing the virtues of preemptive military action.
Disdain conventional diplomatic agencies such as the State Department and conventional country-specific, realist, and pragmatic, analysis. They are hostile toward nonmilitary multilateral institutions and instinctively antagonistic toward international treaties and agreements. "Global unilateralism" is their watchword. They are fortified by international criticism, believing that it confirms American virtue.
Look to the Reagan administration as the exemplar of all these virtues and seek to establish their version of Reagan's legacy as the Republican and national orthodoxy.

(outta wiki, and pretty good.)  That is about as progressive as the nutsackers are fiscally conservative.

neo-cons are the lowest house servants of the neanderthals.

FR,

More GOP sabotage!!! [8|]

    quote:

Some of Thomas Harte 's New Hampshire neighbors are frustrated by the Affordable Care Act's insurance marketplaces but not for the reasons you might expect.
Harte is an insurance broker. He still has his share of frustrations with the marketplace websites, but the growing number of complaints he hears come from clients and fellow brokers who have seen the policies these marketplaces offer.
Nationally the marketplaces offer tens of thousands of different policies with a wide variety of coverage, but Harte has noticed many have one thing in common: They cover a narrow network of doctors and hospitals.
That narrower network comes as particularly bad news for the residents of Concord, New Hampshire.
Concord's one hospital won't accept any policies offered by the marketplaces. To see a doctor, specialist or primary care provider affiliated with the hospital, patients on these Obamacare plans will have to pay out of their own pocket. The closest in-network hospital is in Manchester.
"Can you imagine having to go 25 miles away to Manchester to get access to a health care provider that is covered by your insurance?" Harte asked. "Right now, Concord is one big black hole of health care for people buying these plans."
And it's not just Concord. Nationally, consumers are learning a number of well-known hospitals won't accept insurance offered through the marketplaces.
In New York, NYU will accept only a minority of the plans. In Los Angeles, UCLA medical centers will accept a couple. In Atlanta, Emory has limited the number of plans it will take. Academic medical centers are often pricier because they tackle the more complex cases.

Correct. They get along with them though, but not overtly and not on every issue. As I said, two sides of the same coin, but heads is not tails. It's a symbiosis, either one at any time being either shark or Remora.

Oh my dying fuckin ass, why do you think W and Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, et al are in hiding?  They aint gladhanding nobody.

Never.  Do you know people can see the stupid shit you write?  That is as fuckin hallucinatory as it gets.

Show me where Panetta and Rumsfeld are playing footsie with each other at the  strip bar, it ain't happenin.  Condi Rice and Hillary Clinton, where are they snuffing each others gashes?  They're set in that respect, and the sisterhood ends right the fuck there, old cheese.

Fuck no.

Well, just to keep the record straight.

A shortened version of Alinsky work is given free to anyone in his organization.
An edited longer version is handed out to the various leaders.

As the book itself says, its so those involved in the tea party movement can know what tactics the their opponents will use, and how to counter them.

Oh I get it!

So obama is a regressive. AP reports that the number of people that have lost health insurance is now 3.8 million. And climbing just as I said it would over a month ago.

That explains a lot.

Uh of the two books Alinsky wrote, one was 1946 the other was like 1971.  It said no such thing, and they obviously didn't read it, cuz they are still inept, ineffective, and fucking stupid.

Phydeaux -> RE: geopee sabotage of ACA......Don`t act like you`re surprised. (11/5/2013 1:14:39 PM)

To the original poster:

I'm just curious here.

You're saying that after the original bill failed to garner a single republican vote, that the dims didn't figure there would be determined opposition to the bill?

After the dims lost the house, you don't think the dims should have expected no additional funding?

Returning to the crux of your argument - I don't know if you've ever built a website. But websites work pretty well regardless of what state you're calling from. There is very little difference between making a website for ten states and making one for twenty.

This line of attack is just blame share.

The fact of the matter is the obama administration delayed writing the regulations, to avoid pissing off the electorate.
The fact of the matter is that the software developer didn't even start writing the software until this year.
The fact of the matter is that rather than listen to the technical people that said it wasn't ready the administration's response was "failure is not an option".

The fact of the matter is that the obama administration spent more than 94 million dollars advertizing to drum up subscriptions. That money could have been spent to, ya know, actually make a site that works.

The fact of the matter is the site crashed a few hours after midnight on its first day open when 2700 people visited.

The fact is that you don't roll out a service that is going to kill people (by making them lose their insurance coverage) with two weeks of testing.
And thats what the obama adminsitration did.

Something that is going to spend 1.85 trillion dollars, they tested for 2 weeks.

I guess it was less confusing as when the nutsackers passed repeal 42 times.  It will become even less confusing when the inept nutsackers are sent down the road in the elections, those swing seats are gonna swing the other way, that is why the nutsackers been gerrymandering the shit outa districts so they can save some of them.

And as we are all very aware, you possess no facts of the matter.

EdBowie -> RE: geopee sabotage of ACA......Don`t act like you`re surprised. (11/5/2013 6:26:40 PM)

Wow! that's a lot of people, a significant percentage out of the alleged pool of people who already had insurance they were happy with.

Just ripped away from them by armed IRS attack squads, hmmmm? Wonder why I and every employed (or even retired) person I know, still have ours?

Sabotaging Obamacare is like sabotaging an airplane after the wings have fallen off, in flight.
