I've always had trouble with swallowing my saliva and/or breathing while gagged. Does anyone else experience this? When a gag (whether a solid ball-gag or an open-mouth gag) is in place, I can't move my tongue the way it seems to need to swallow my saliva; and this causes me to choke, retch, and suffocate. This inability to swallow my saliva terrifies me, and somehow MORE saliva is produced by my mouth when there is a ball-gag or ope mouth gag in place. I have tried to practice moving my tongue to swallow, but it can't maneuver when I am gagged. I really want to be gagged, but it only lasts for a minute before I am drowning in a mouthful of saliva. I even bought a round whiffle ball (the plastic one full of holes), and this helps IF I am placed face-down so that the saliva can dribble out through the gag's holes, but does not work if i am standing upright or laying on my back.
