I am a closeted dresser and buy online, but want to try buying in public. I want the saleslady to know I am buying for me and hope to try some things on in the store, I want the humiliation part of it, so where do I shop

Ok here goes...from someone who has shopped with cross dressers a fair bit in the past 20 years
My first question is How do you know you are not going to make the sales person uncomfortable, cross, embarrassed or pissed off??? why include them in YOUR humiliation, they rarely want to be involved in someone who is "out of the norm" and it can really fuck up their day.
Now I am all for people being open minded and accepting of different "lifestyles"but having to deal with selfish people is a pain in the arse and not worth minimum wage for some one else getting their jollies.

Adam and eve, because there staff are normally open with "non vanilla" people
Walmart because their staff, rarely deal with non vanillas until you get to the cash desk.
Ive never been to VS because they do not cater to my eclectic needs(read fat chick lingerie)
Ive never been to Nordstroms, or Lane Bryants or Maceys. so I dont have a clue.
In this day and age, Id like to think that people really dont care what others are buying, or are willing to answer "embarrassing" questions, but a lot of it depends on where you are and how you approach them.
But if you find somewhere with friendly open minded staff, treat them well and keep going back..but dont push it...
there is a fine line between fun customers and creepy guys in flasher macs.

Also if you have a fem friend you can go with, you can get the whispered humiliation without making the staff feel violated.
I enjoy cross dressing shopping, but im very very careful not to force the staff to deal with the "needs" of the CD im with.
Temper the fantasy and humiliation with the reality.
Just my two cents

I was in Macy's one time and there was an embarrassed cd there. The clerk, a middle aged woman, was very matter of fact about it. She didn't sneer at him or humiliate him. Just wanted to make the sale.

So I think your hopes of people pointing fingers and laughing at you are bound to fail. If you cause trouble, security will kick you out. Otherwise nobody will blink an eye and you'll go home with less money and very disappointed.

Ugh, guys like you seriously piss me off. Not only are you inflicting your kink on the general public in a non-consensual fashion, which is a craptastic and selfish thing to do, you are also one of the many reasons public dressing rooms and restrooms are dangerous for trans* people. For fuck's sake, STAY HOME and continue buying your clothes online.

KYsissy -> RE: Sissy needs to go shopping (11/18/2013 11:40:00 AM)

You might ask your local DS community if there is a shop that is open to that. I know a Domme who takes her sissy for mani/pedi but it is a small shop and those outings are prearranged.

As was mentioned, don't involve unwilling people.

Downtown Eastside Vancouver, BC. There are shops galore there used to your type of CDs and what you are looking for.

Sissy needs to come up with better material if they are going to keep starting these "one-handed-typing" threads.

lizi -> RE: Sissy needs to go shopping (11/19/2013 2:40:28 AM)

Stay home and leave non-consenting people out of you getting your jollies - that's reprehensible. I hate the feeling of being used sexually or anything else by someone.

A guy rubbed his crotch up on me in a crowded bus one day repeatedly. He was sneaky about it, he was huge physically, I felt concerned about making a scene - I was young. It really pissed me off. I made sure he got a sharp elbow to the groin as he was very tall, he stayed away after that. Oops.

Don't be an asshole.

It would be different if you wanted to go shopping without the motivation of wanting to be humiliated because that gets you off.

Yea, I doubt he got through one pull with the material presented here today. [8D]

nothing wrong with the shopping. Why would it be humiliating to buy women's clothes? Men have been buying women's clothes as long as they've been selling women's clothes. Lots of fellows I know buy clothes for their ladies or themselves. Stockings are warm, and if you work outside in the cold, they are practical.

Or is it that being like a woman is humiliating? I have never found it humiliating. I love being a woman! My cross dressing friends love shopping as a fun activity to celebrate their girly side. The idea that shopping for women's clothes is humiliating? Well that's just silly.

Little secret here: when I was in the Reserves, we used to use ladies pantyhose (the knee-high kind) under our socks when we were in the desert. We'd soak 'em in DEET so the ticks wouldn't chaw up our feet and legs. I used to get a kick out of going to the drugstore and buying a fresh pair and when the clerk asked if they were for my lady, I'd say to her, "No, they're for ME!". Used to do this in uniform too, occasionally (they'd only last once or twice before they were trashed, but the remnants were good for putting that high polish on our boots).
