You're driving your own self nuts. Who the hell cares if you're two cookies short? And you're baking bread for stuffing purposes? You're obsessing over perfection. And considering minor annoyances (e.g., your Dom) as major things.

The goal is a happy holiday. Not a picture perfect meal with everyone stressed out.

Don't worry, be happy.

But if he doesn't give me time to cook for Thanksgiving I am going to scream.
He can't cook. He hasn't done more than grill a steak or burgers in the ten years we've been together.

But trying to help when I'm baking bread to turn into stuffing is driving me bonkers.

Go away, watch football. And next week this time I will be back to normal.

Rant over, thanks for listening.

You're a smart girl.Manipulate the situation.Arrange for him to be busy early in the day when you are cooking. Buy him a massage. Send him to the liquor store. Placate his vast alcohol knowledge in sending him. Have him shop for items that "must be bought fresh."
Distract him, divert him, send him off the field of battle.
BDSM is an art form, perform some artistry :-)

Crap. He's onto me.
