When they said there had been a wreck, I immediately knew which curve it was. It's the worst curve on the line.
They just announced the engineer was going over 80 mph on a curve that shouldn't be taken above 25.
I hope he goes to jail for a long time. There was no excuse for that excessive speed.
Additionally with GPS capabilities being what it is, there should be a computer interface telling drivers to slow down at spots. If not a chip that prevents going above a certain speed.
Looks to be a week before they reopen even one track. They're asking people to stay home instead and telecommute.
