I think you'll find that most responses will be some form of do what you like. If you can find someone else who sees your vision of what a fulfilling relationship is, and what activities go on within that relationship, then that's all you need to know. Why would what anyone else says about it matter?

So ask whoever you are with if he wants to do what you're into, and you'll get your answer whether or not that person considers it submissive or not. Even if he didn't consider it submissive, but wanted to do it, what does it matter what he calls it?
Rock on and find someone to that finds what you like appealing.

I had a Dom that did some less traditional things with me, and I with him, we liked it, it worked, we were happy with things. It never occurred to me to label our activities right or wrong according to our sexual roles.

How are you defining ass worship?

Because you may find a dominant ass man who will do the things you love framed in a dominant context.

And if you aren't into anal per se but he is into anal play... that could be a fun thing and easily framed in a dominant context.

Labels provide a reference point but they also tend to be limiting.

Step beyond the label(s) and a wide world opens.

I'm a bit confused. In my concept of a D/s relationship, the sub can propose anything, and his/her Dom/me either agrees or not. So you're asking if a sub is allowed to say what she likes?

Of course! And the Dom can do with that what he wants.

Sure. Just find a dom who's an ass man -- and a lot of them are! For example, I'm dom(ish) and I dated a lady for a while who was dominant but loved to be spanked. First of all, you need to understand that a D is a D, and an /s is an /s, and a D will do exactly what he/she wants/likes to do, no matter how man shades of ignorant your outlook may be, it's all about the D.
