I added a touch of wording to the explanation to better describe it. Hopefully that helps.

I never thought about the 'safety' forum, probably because its called 'Health and Safety' and most of the threads are about illness but you're right, we already have a section for just this.

Gamma, this might be something to think about. If the use of a forum isn't clear to a longtime poster, maybe it needs to be better explained, retitled, subtitled, etc.

I agree that her response to you was kind of demented. Thanks for raising this issue. The answer might be a new forum entitled "negative experiences." But after reading about false accusations, etc. and stuff, I see there is really no easy fix.

As others have noted, however, there are plenty of threads here about negative experiences. I liked what kalikshama said, namely that she had to learn how to screen partners before she got involved with them.

Good luck to you and your friend.

I also agree that many others here have been inappropriate in their responses to you. That's a kind of collarme staple.

Maria's responses were exemplary.

Health and safety sounds like a good compromise for this.

A negative feedback forum sounds like it would just devolve to bashing of unpopular posters and would not be very useful.

I don't see why there can't be a negative experiences subsection under BDSM, if enough people want one, as long as posters don't blacklist.

But, the reality is the same people who ignore the ToS, FAQs and guidelines will ignore the rules for that forum and blacklist because the title makes it even more inviting. And how do we quantify a "negative experience"?

Someone who you think wasted your time? Someone coming into the forums and saying my friend was raped, I don't know where she met the rapist, but I'm going to stab here? I saw a profile that was a fake?

It would be a nightmare for the Mods.

There's an old saying that tough cases make bad law.

OP why are you on here? You don't want to meet anyone in person, you assume bc this is a kink friendly site that we're all just here to "tie eachother up," you don't seem open to learning about the many aspects of BDSM, and all you want to do is complain. It seems easier to just delete your profile and move on. You aren't bringing anything to the site and apparently not getting anything out of it either.
