Arpig (and other posters) have used proxy servers to get around getting caught or moderation.

Oh. My. God. I actually sat here & read this entire thread from start to finish. [8\|] My suggestion is to neither coddle the newbies nor force them to assimilate. Have the rules in place - there already ARE rules in place - and apply them equally and fairly across the board to the newbies and to the rest of us. Not reading the rules first is no excuse for not following the rules. Allowing some people to get away with asshattiness & not others should no longer be allowed. The Mods should be the only ones Moderating the forums. A poster making him- or herself into a self-appointed Mod should get his or her own Moderating for it. The only way to be fair to everyone in this is to treat everyone fairly and equally. NBMG

Please. With the new posters here lately...they are a scary bunch and I don't care if they are retained.
