I was fortunate enough last night to have dinner with the lovely MistressDarkArt. She's such a nice, welcoming, and funny person. We had dinner at a new (to me) restaurant, and it was very good. My first experience with "family style" in a restaurant setting was a success!

She's always quick with a hug and a kind smile.

Not only was she able to quiet my mind, but my soul as well. I left dinner feeling more "normal" than I have in too long.

I feel very fortunate to have seen her again, and for the support she so freely gives.

I'm so happy to hear that, Sweetness :-) Thanks for the kind words.

Folks, this young lady is one really compassionate, thoughtful person. In the midst of all going on for her, she took the time to make me a wonderful birthday gift: a beautiful montage of seascapes she photographed herself of different areas of the CA coast in a pretty frame. She's quite the photographer! I'm so impressed!

Imo, people use the word 'amazing' way too much in current vernacular. In Allie's case, it's absolutely true.

Good food and good company always make for the best combination! Family style is awesome isn't it? I love restaurants that support it.
