ORIGINAL: VideoAdminGamma Do you feel that the Ask a Master and Ask a Mistress sections should be renamed to reflect a more gender specific area for questions to be asked? ETA - for example "Discussions About Female-Led Relationships" and "Discussions About Male-Led Relationships" ~ Chi I voted "No" and "Let me explain". First off, I personally don't identify as a Master but I get the gist of trying to keep the forum titles simple. Ok, it does create an opportunity for a minority to take offense and as soon as CM starts catering to such precious arseholes to a point of changing policy for them, I'm outa here. Noting that this particular thread threatens to get that ball rolling.... Secondly and though it doesn't seem to be part of the topic question, I'm absolutely against combining "Ask a Master" with "Ask a Mistress". Just wanted that on the record. Overall, I think "Ask a Master" has less traffic whereas my experience of "Ask a Mistress" has been that only P & R is more hostile. That the ladies are more inclined to close ranks and attack as a group (dare I say..., mob/clique?) whereas us fellas tend to duke out our differences 1o1. And "Ask a Mistress" gives the male subs somewhere to spam the boards with their do-me fantasies. Not in my backyard, thanks.... ;) Ok, begs the reasonable question as to why no gender specific submissive forum. Works fine as is for me but then I'm not submissive hard-wired to have given it any real thought. "Ask a Male Dominant" and "Ask a Female Dominant" would be more user friendly (or less intimidating) to newbies, IMO. And alphabetically, the gals move above us on the main board, in case that's important to some. Focus.
