A great big congrats to both of you.

And I agree, when it's the right person, you know right away.

Wonderful news, thanks for sharing!! Congratulations :-) Isn't it funny how when we take the pressure off ourselves, we make room for unexpected beautiful things?

I, being just both hopelessly romantic and a lover of the serendipity, love things like this.

When I lived in NYC, a friend of mine asked me to meet her for lunch, she was bringing a friend who was her roommate in boarding school and had recently graduated from law school and passed the NY bar on the first go. I had no idea this woman would be at lunch.

About five minutes into lunch, my friend might not as well have been there. When it came time to order, my friend looked at her wrist (neither she or I wear watches) and said, "I forgot. I have to go get some cheese to catch a rat to feed my cat and left.

Her friend and I ate lunch, then dinner, never moved from the table. The next day while interviewing with some condescending partner at a major firm, she stood up, bitch slapped him and had her first "retainer" as a Pro-Domme. She was my main sub for the next 4 years.

Blindsided

Your story sound like the Universe Pizza Delivery with serendipity topping. Just so cool. Gives me hope.

R
