Not in that case, it had gone past the base where it's flattened. All he did was turn what he had inside to goo, which went around it to some extent, but 'backed-up' in his colon. The kid had essentially overdosed on the laxatives, which in itself can send someone to the ER. Add to that several other 'intrusions' to attempt to pull it out, and his back door was swollen up only made the whole affair worse. If I recall correctly, the kid (like 19-20?) ended up being admitted for a few days to get everything back in balance again.
