I looked up the .12 gauge shotguns and there were 5 sites that even had pictures of them. Of course they were all 12 gauge. This is level of ignorance we have to deal with.

FR Anyone remember the Co politician who didn't know you could reload a magazine? I think, but I'm not sure, that she was one of the ones recalled over the gun laws passed there.

Expertise is nice, but I don't care if a politician knows you can stretch your plinking budget by running .38 Special through the .357 (and in a few cases if they know not to try it the other way). Basic competency. Would we want someone who has never driven a car writing traffic laws?
