The people who keep claiming he chased a kid after the police told him to stop, really need to brush up on the evidence. Hundreds of pages of it were released, along with hours of audio recordings.
In it is absolutely zero evidence he continued to follow after agreeing to stop following, and a fair bit of evidence that he did stop.

Fortunately there's tons of witness testimony and forensics that prove he wasn't a liar.

There is still no evidence shown that he is a liar at all.

I'm not happy about it. In fact, I signed the petition to have George arrested before the evidence started coming out to help me realize I'd jumped to conclusions about the case.

I'm not applauding anything, other than that the truth came out in court and the jury rightfully acquitted someone who lawfully acted in self defense. Other than that, the whole thing was a tragedy. Even with Trayvon's faults and illegal stuff he was into, 17 is still young enough to turn one's life around.

If he'd simply let George go when George started yelling for help, he'd still be alive today.

I am proud to be an ilk.

For those who are spiritually aware, the question is: Who all wanted TM dead?

Was it TM himself?
Was it TM's mom?
Was it TM's brother?
Were it all of the people whom TM mugged, robbed or who otherwise presumably experienced his nasty side?

It is clear to us, in any case, that TM died because of Divine intervention.

Something forced him to get out of his car and follow the guy? He called the cops, they told him to stop...

Sean (the dispatcher) asked him where he was running, George got out of the vehicle in response, then Sean asked if he was following, George said "Yes", Sean says "We don't need you to do that", George says "Okay", and stops following. Does George stop following? Yes, but only because he has lost sight of Martin. Does he go back to his truck? No. He first indicates that he has no intention of returning to his truck by telling the dispatcher to have the arriving officer call him once he was on the scene and he would then advise the officer of his location at that time. And it is proven that he had no intention of returning to his truck by the fact that from the time he was advised not to follow until the end of the phone call he had something like a minute and a half (as I remember it) in which he could have easily walked back to his truck...but he didn't do that, did he? As you so kindly point out, he was STILL in the same area where he had been when advised not to follow.

A couple minutes later, George's nose is broken at the same spot he agreed to stop following, George ends up pinned to the ground, screaming for help for nearly a minute before finally pulling the weapon out and shooting. We only have George's often changing version of the story to indicate that that is where his nose was broken. He also said that when he was punched he fell immediately to the ground. How do you fall immediately to the ground, yet end up some 50+ feet away...where he ended up killing Martin? Either he was not punched at that location, or he did not fall immediately to the ground. So which is the lie? He had to maintain that he was punched at that location in order to bolster the lie that he was on the way back to his truck. But he also had to make it sound like the punch was so devastating that he was immediately incapacitated. And yet his supporters gobbled up his garbage, hook, line, and sinker.

The actual facts of the case indicate that he did NOT fall immediately to the ground, and that there was a standing struggle going on as they moved Southward, to where Martin then struck Zimmerman who was trying to detain him, only to be shot and killed by this thug asshole.

Of course, George was under no legal obligation to return to the truck, nor was it improper to wait near where he last saw Trayvon for the police to arrive.

quote:

We only have George's often changing version of the story to indicate that that is where his nose was broken.

And the residents just southwest (the Lauers) who heard the argument start right where George said it did.

quote:

He also said that when he was punched he fell immediately to the ground. How do you fall immediately to the ground, yet end up some 50+ feet away...where he ended up killing Martin?

Also explained by the Lauers. They heard the encounter start at the T intersection followed by scuffling that went southward past their house. That scuffling could have been on the ground.

quote:

Either he was not punched at that location, or he did not fall immediately to the ground.

There's no reason to leap to this conclusion. Someone knocked to the ground can land there several feet away, and to that person might feel awfully immediate, and we know there was movement after they were on the ground, per John Good. John Good told investigators that the screams for help started from a distance and got closer until they ended up behind his back yard, further bolstering George's testimony to police that he started yelling for help after he ended up on the ground with Trayvon on top of him.

quote:

The actual facts of the case indicate that he did NOT fall immediately to the ground[
and that there was a standing struggle going on as they moved Southward,

Pure speculation and leaping to conclusions without the facts to back it up. The ACTUAL facts entirely support Zimmerman's story.

Since to us spiritually aware people it is obvious that GZ was an instrument of the Divine, and that GZ ought therefore to be regarded as a holy person, I propose that the true believers as soon as he has become deceased himself, build a church in honor of his name and person: the GZC. (George Zimmerman Church)

Now that the case is over, why is this guy still in the news anyway? He's reportedly gotten death threats against him, yet he seems to be enjoying the limelight, doing all these interviews and such. Does he have his own radio show yet? Is that coming next?
