why is this guy still in the news anyway?

It is because some people are quite agitated about him. If you see one of them, cross over to the other side of the street.

Whippedboy -> RE: Zimmerman's back... (2/21/2014 10:30:35 AM)

Bottom line is if the sick fuck had stayed in his car like he was TOLD to do, everyone goes home happy.
GZ set this whole thing in motion by first profiling then pursuing this kid.

Can't believe people still say this line. George was never told to stay in the car.

Now that the case is over, why is this guy still in the news anyway? He's reportedly gotten death threats against him, yet he seems to be enjoying the limelight, doing all these interviews and such. Does he have his own radio show yet? Is that coming next?

Nah, he's somehow managed to sell some sort of artwork for big bucks.

a book a movie of the week, his own radio show, OR his own internet show

right wing media will sign him up soon
but no boxing or any other fight tho

He'd have to write the book, or pay somebody to write it for him.
Maybe he's selling plagiaristic art to raise money for that?
[:D]

You say that as if it would matter that they did told him to stay in his car ....[8|]

The same old line but at least it was someone who hasn't said it here before.

Its either the same old people repeating the same old made up imaginary shit or the the same old made up imaginary shit being repeated by someone new.

I went on my eBay account to look at the art work and the bidding history, basically 3 people bid it up over a hundred grand....

Two of the bidders had zero bidding history (ie. new accounts) and the winner(just a few buys w/ a 100% pos.history) wrote a question to George(which can be seen on the sales-page) asking how George would send the "art-work" and George replies kinda creepily..."I`ll bring it to you myself,friend"[8|]

Anyone who`s experienced with eBay knows not to transact large $ sales with bidders with no biding history or with a bad bidding history(stiffing people,etc) without 1st contacting the them 1st and working out payments. Without certified funds, most sellers will cancel a winning bid.

This particular sale looked fishy to me and I won`t be surprised to hear that the buyer stiffed George or tried low-balling down from the 100 grand (this happens a lot with high dollar purchases. Or that the sale was cancelled for some other reason.

Yes except would t you think we would have heard that's what happened by now ?

Owner59 -> RE: Zimmerman's back... (2/21/2014 11:34:58 AM)

eBay has still to authenticate the painting and transaction.....

"When bidding closed last night, the final offer for the painting that reads "God, One Nation, with Liberty and Justice for All" stood at $100,099.99. But as with all stunt eBay listings such as this one, the auction site will have to authenticate the bid. Of course, it's far from outrageous to think that some NRA freak would relish forking six figures over to Zimmerman for some tone-deaf patriotic propaganda.

Zimmerman, who recently added "alleged domestic abuser" to his rap sheet, needs the money, too. Last month, he revealed that he is currently $2.5 million in debt thanks to legal fees stemming from the Martin investigation and trial.

It`s not necessarily news breaker stuff....That`s why I said I would be surprised if we hear down the road that the sale went south.

lovmuffin -> RE: Zimmerman's back... (2/21/2014 11:40:15 AM)

So the bidding has been going for almost a month then ? I wasn't aware that listings would go that long.

The seller (I think it was his brother`s eBay account) can make the sale last from days to indefinitely. It costs more to have longer auctions.

There are quite a few options from blazing lights to econo listings with no features.

PayPal is what separates the real people from the fakes. And verified accounts. Without them, it`s 'wait till the check clears" status. PayPal is also the guarantor for verified accounts.

As a fan of George,would you fork over a hundred grand for the "art-work".....even if you had ten times that much money?

I always enjoy the responses people resort to when they have no counter argument to the facts. :)

I laugh at what imbeciles pass off as fact.

Raiikun -> RE: Zimmerman's back... (2/21/2014 2:28:51 PM)

Another ad hom with no substance. Didn't see that coming.

Something forced him to get out of his car and follow the guy? He called the cops, they told him to stop...

Sean (the dispatcher) asked him where he was running, George got out of the vehicle in response, then Sean asked if he was following, George said "Yes", Sean says "We don't need you to do that", George says "Okay", and stops following.

A couple minutes later, George's nose is broken at the same spot he agreed to stop following, George ends up pinned to the ground, screaming for help for nearly a minute before finally pulling the weapon out and shooting.

Bullshit. You want people to believe that Zimmerman simply stood in the rain on the walk way for several minutes out of sight of the street. No one is that stupid.

I believe yours was the ad hominem, I laughed at it as fucking stupid as it was.   Just fact, no substance on your dumb ass posting as usual.

Don't even know what are necessary and sufficient conditions to constitute fact, I mean.......goddamn, thats why what you post isnt taken seriously, it isn't against the man, its against the man talking ignorant shit.

ie, not ad hominem.

DomKen, I will not say that you are lying, but you most certainly are here not telling the truth.

Obviously TM was that stupid. Instead of hurrying back home to be out of the rain, he chose to double back and mug that poor old mister Z. Also he was out of sight for longer than GZ was standing there.

He was even more stupid for walking through - presumably - the rain all the way to the store, leaving his young brother without proper supervision, to buy his ingredients, and then again through - presumably - the rain nearly all the way back home. So clearly not only was he that stupid, he was even far more stupid than that.

Well, that evening he finally kicked his habit and even got a Darwin Award to boot; so he did rather well that evening.

Owner59 -> RE: Zimmerman's back... (2/21/2014 8:02:01 PM)

That`s the bigoted "black folks need to behave" narrative....

Heard it......[8|]

Moonhead -> RE: Zimmerman's back... (2/22/2014 12:08:32 AM)

Because obviously, if somebody's following you, the safest thing to do is lead them straight to where you're staying especially if there's a kid in the house.

your ilk are applauding it

I am proud to be an ilk.

[sm=alien.gif]

For those who are spiritually aware, the question is: Who all wanted TM dead?

Was it TM himself?
Was it TM's mom?
Was it TM's brother?
Were it all of the people whom TM mugged, robbed or who otherwise presumably experienced his nasty side?

It is clear to us, in any case, that TM died because of Divine intervention.

you took me off hide? why?...put me back now....
so I am not tempted ....

only you can control you
stop responding to him....its easy
