Glad you join the pool, it will help you out. Now, look at strengthening your back core muscles. My pain management doc had me doing PT on that when I had my nerves burned. I still get pain but next month I plan to get me some kettle bells. I got a 65cm core ball in my closet of doom that I get out and do stretches on it when I get a chance. I still get back pain for I am standing too long or walking too much. I would do my exercise bike/elliptical machine but we got it put up in Mom's room and it is packed up tight...can't get on it. At least the kiddos stopped using it as a play toy. I wake up in pain sometimes and my drug of choice is Tramadol. Just pop 2 and lay back down in a different position. If that does not work, I go and sit down in my computer chair...just something I picked up at a garage sale a few years ago for $15...big, cushiony...the lumbar section is puffed out a bit so I push my back into it and hear my back popping.
