Hi subbjohnn,

Pro-Dommes are sex workers and you are nothing but a paycheck.

NONONONONO!

No pro Domme with half a brain will allow sex as part of her session!

Fella, you just called pro Dommes hookers. I hope the forum is merciful to you....

Why are you down on sex-workers ovid ? It's legal here. It's an honourable proffession, providing a service for an agreed fee and it is the second oldest proffession in the world.

You don't actually have to have sex with a client to be a sex worker. All that is required to be a sex worker is that the person work in the sex industry. This includes strippers, cam girls and Pro-Dommes who are all providing a sex oriented service even if they don't have direct contact with their employer's genitals. Technically the people who produce sex toys are sex workers. Heck, even the people who work for this website are sex-workers, just look at the ads on the profile side. It's about as neutral a term as you can get to accurately describe their field of employment, like how every health care professional isn't a surgeon.

While you are engaging in the "No true Scotsman" fallacy, I would note that in places where paid for sexual contact is legal there are in fact Pro-Dommes who will engage in genital contact and stimulation as part of a session. The only reason the majority do not (in my opinion) is because it is illegal, not because Pro-Domming is somehow different than other sex work. However, just like a stripper or cam-girl, avoiding direct sexual stimulation of the client is what keeps it legal sex work. It doesn't make it not sex work. I suspect that if prostitution becomes legal in the USA we'll see more Pro-Dommes offering direct sexual services in order to remain competitive in the market, but I could easily be wrong.

I believe you misunderstand me. I am not down on sex-workers and I think you will find that I did not offer a judgment in my post about sex-workers. I personally think prostitution should be legal so that protections can be more easily provided to the people who engage in it. I have no issue with anyone who chooses to take money to provide sexual services nor with anyone who pays money to have their sexual needs met. It doesn't work for me personally because I want a romantic connection with my sexual partners and enjoy the D/s dynamic. Personally I can't regard an employee as dominant to me anymore than I view my housekeeper as my boss. Some guys obviously can make that work in their heads and that's fine. Different strokes for different folks.

While I am not against sex-workers, I also don't think it is good to romanticize the industry as anything other than what it is: a contract relationship for the sexual satisfaction of the client. Just because the client gets their sexual satisfaction from something other than direct genital manipulation doesn't suddenly make it something more than what a stripper has with their clients. My post was offering advice to the potential customer of a Pro-Domme. He is considering a financial arrangement for a service. It's in his best interest to ensure he spends his money wisely and gets maximum satisfaction for what he spends. When I hire an accountant, I take measures to ensure I hire one that will do the best job for the money I pay him or her. I don't think hiring a Pro-Domme should be any different, get the best one you can find at the cheapest price you can negotiate. I mean, professional is even in the job title.

Honestly, I respect Pro-Dommes. It's not a job I could do and it requires genuine skills to retain clients in what is obviously a competitive market. I'm not interested in their services but I don't see any reason why they shouldn't be available for those who do want them.

GoddessBlueKura -> RE: im a slave with online mistress questions (2/25/2014 5:15:24 AM)

ProDommes fall under the "sex work" umbrella. No one is stating she's a hooker but because fetish and kink are sexually stimulating even if she never physically touches the nether regions it hits the "sex work" stamp. Even ads place tend to be where escorts advertise.

Sex Work:

NaughtyText/IM, Phone Sex, Cam Models, Strippers/Exotic Dancers, Escorts, Street Walkers, Massage Girls, ProDommes, FinDommes, Porn Starlets.

Surprising that sleeping with your boss in a corporate type environment didn't make the list. In truth it would also apply.

Oh the whole "genital contact" isn't what a Pro-Domme does. I think they've referred to these types as Prosti-Dommes. I think people tend to watch FemDomme porn and assume that when they arrive they'll be receiving sex after a session. Sadly they end up truly mistaken when interacting with most Pro-Dommes.

You might find that your suspicions are wrong. In countries where prostitution is legal, you will still find Dommes who do not allow direct sexual services, of course there are some who do, and they call themselves Bizarre Ladies, it's not a distinction they have to make by law, they do that to avoid confusion and let the client know what to expect.

You can't.

You and every other sub infected with cyber-subfever are the reason why there are so many cam-Princesses on this site. Supply and demand.
You got yours this time. Next time, it'll be you who gets ripped off. [sm=excuseme.gif]

LadyConstanze -> RE: im a slave with online mistress questions (2/25/2014 12:52:51 PM)

We call that online karma ;)

subbjohnn -> RE: im a slave with online mistress questions (2/25/2014 5:50:19 PM)

that first girl was a scam though.
her real person din't look anything like her picture.
and she ask for $45 for nothing.

LafayetteLady -> RE: im a slave with online mistress questions (2/25/2014 9:42:17 PM)

You mean she wasn't all decked out in her "domme wear?"

People tend to post pictures where they feel they are looking their best, especially if they are a pro.

I bet you look different than your picture, too.

But hey, at least now everyone can see that you are fantasy driven by images and are likely to try to get out of paying for things.

Oh and a "pro" asking for just $45 dollars? Definitely not going to be worth the money.

subbjohnn -> RE: im a slave with online mistress questions (2/25/2014 9:53:42 PM)

Nope she was'nt at all the person in the picture,
its not even her.

LafayetteLady -> RE: im a slave with online mistress questions (2/25/2014 10:40:45 PM)

It doesn't change my point.

You are looking to get credit for exposing someone as fake. It doesn't work that way.

1. Most of us can figure out the fakes all on our own. We don't need your duplicity to help us.
2. We know there are fakes, but we don't care all that much.
3. You are the one who came here asking about paying someone and whether it was a scam. We all told you it was, yet you felt a need to follow through to prove it. Again, we don't care.

That warm fuzzy feeling of someone who has just been ripped off. But the good news is you don't have to pay again unless you really enjoy that feeling, then by all means write another check. But if you want to avoid that feeling you can pay attention to the big red letters that say "DO NOT SEND MONEY TO OTHER USERS FOR ANY REASON"

DarkSteven -> RE: im a slave with online mistress questions (12/24/2014 4:00:04 AM)

thb, miranda's been exhuming old dead threads all over yesterday. No need to respond, the OP is long gone from this thread.
