No pickups for me, please. All they mean is someone wants to borrow it to move shit. But I would make an exception for a Ford Raptor, with a hard-roofed utility bed to deter people asking. I have too many guns as it is, have no desire or intention on bungee-jumping or skydiving (last time I tried, I broke both ankles at once on the hundred-foot tower at Camp Williams). The younger women are a possibility, providing I win the lottery or something. I've got enough tats as it is, and my Harley fantasy is building one out of a box. Riding may be problematic, but I'd like to have the plate frame reading 'Built Not Bought'.

I have seriously considered shaving my head, not because I'm balding or for the grey, but just because I hate dealing with it when it starts getting long.

Master keeps his head almost shaved but not quite completely gone, kinda basically a military buzz cut. He started doing it about a year or two ago. It took me a little time to get used to at first. He still looks hot though.

Depending on the lotto (I am going to win one of these days, Jeff), I would let Mom get a sportscar in red...has to be red and automatic...don't trust her with a manual.

I recently cut and colored my hair...I am 46 and fighting the grays.

BTW, I saw the 3rd book of the Fifty Shades series in our library...told Mom not to get it.

I have been asked a couple of times if I got the senior discount. I smile sweetly, and say "I damn sure do now that you asked me that!".

They have never denied it-lolol.

Speaking from experience after having gone through this myself, I have some very good advice about the sports car vs the Harley. The car holds a lot more girls! Besides, you already have a good convertible sports car hair cut on your undyed head of hair.

In my 30s I started to go gray. I had already been dying my hair a lighter shade of blonde all my life. Naturally I am a dishwater blond which is another word for light brown in my opinion.

In my 40s I stuck with the hair dye but, I got divorced at age 44 which is the other stereotypical excuse to purchase a shiny new ride. My ex called me and said she spotted a 1970 Olds 88 convertible with a 455 cubic-inch Super Rocket V8 (365 hp version not the 390 hp with hood scoops). I grabbed it. That car got 8 miles a gallon, downhill, with a tail wind but, I measured it's value by the smiles per gallon not the mpg. Each and every mile was an adventure. If that car could tell stories, it would tell you it was a rolling bedroom, a sex magnet and a hit at the beaches and clubs.

. . . but in my early 50s, overwhelming opposition from my pair of my 20 & 22 year old de rigueur GFs and some good strokes to my ego (and elsewhere) convinced me that having a head of silver hair was actually more attractive. I dumped the hair dye.

I hit 58 last fall and considered an identity remake but, my slave samdarella stroked my ego and other necessary parts reassuring me that I wear the silver fox look quite well and it needs no adjustment or hair dye.

So IMO, passing on hair dye was is a great excuse for nice car and the required young girlfriends. I predict you will enjoy developing your 'silver fox' mane and the sporty rides (mechanical and biological) for many more years.

Nice ride, and I have no intentions of slathering more chemicals on me. Class set of wheels, especially with the drop-top. Thanks, RS.

Just remember, that those sports cars get harder and harder to get in and out of with the years.

I'm not going grey. I did that for a couple of years but now I'm going white. Not even 60 and I'm getting white hair. I remember my grandmother having this but I never thought I would inherit the trait.

With my bad back they're hard to get in and out of now. I've put my crisis on hold while I deal with some real crises now. I might still get that bike, for the simple fact it takes up less space to store than a car or truck. And I like (and miss) riding for the sheer enjoyment of it, especially on a hot and muggy day around here.

The only time I would suggest hair dye is for men whose beards or mustaches don't match the hair on their heads. Women never have that problem so I don't suggest hair dye for them at all.

Nope. My head hair, beard and 'stache all match nicely. And my woman likes my hair/beard color as issued, so that's off the table.

It was bad enough the group informally arranged itself by age, TNG at one end of the table, old farts on the other. I guess I should enjoy it when it happens, but damn, bad timing. Well! Off to Wally World to buy some khaki shorts to go with my black socks, and one of those gawdawful fishing hats. Wonder if Matlock is on?

Don't forget the Metamucil!!
