Greetings susan...

i could feel your pain when i read your initial posting on this topic...probably because i have been where you are....my issues were complicated by an inability to trust others....i had so many walls around me.....no one could see or hear the girl behind them...i lived that way for many many years....i no longer am that girl.....i found a person who took the time and had the strength to keep pushing at those walls....unil i was exposed...with nowhere to run....it was the hardest thing i have done in my life.....but it started with one person.trusting one.....believing in one.....from there it blossomed and over time i came to this conclusion....i choose to LIVE!!!.......i have never been more at peace with who i am..i wish the same for you.....this whole process started for me when i was in my 40's.....i congratulate you for beginning this work now....you will have years to benefit from it....Best of Luck on your journey.

You are a brave woman. You get up every single day and put one foot in front of the other. You cry when you need to, even when it seems to make things worse. Hopefully you get an occasional giggle when you need it to. Courage is not the absence of fear, it is being afraid and doing it anyway. Try everyday to remember that you are a valuable person, and then count the people who you have loved and who have loved you. If you really try and are really honest - the number may surprise you.

Susan, I really enjoy reading your threads on this site because you really put your heart into them and I think that, in itself is sexy!

You guys are all so kind. I really appreciate it. I ahve to say things have gotten quite a bit better for me since I originally wrote this thread, although I am still seeing a grief counsellor, and will be for as long as it takes to feel I can move forward on my own. I appreciate the kindess. Hope your week goes well, ya'll !
