This afternoon, after realizing that I had forgotten to get anything out for dinner, I made a command decision.
First, I checked to see how many extra large eggs were in the fridge.. 3 dozen were found.
Second, I diced up a 1 pound ham steak, in 1/2 inch cubes.
Third, I diced up 8 sweet peppers.
Fourth I diced up a sweet onion.
I fried a pound of thick sliced bacon, then cut it into small pieces.
I browned two pounds of country sausage, and proceeded to make sausage gravy.
2 dozen home made biscuits stacked neatly on a plate.
The usual condiments were on the table.
Tonight dinner consisted of omelets, biscuits and sausage gravy.
And there is plenty left over for breakfast in the morning, which means the dogs will have a biscuit, gravy and eggs in with dog food.
