I have now for many years dreamed of being a girl I adore girls clothes from underwear to skirts and pretty dresses. If I had been single I would have been transformed from male to female I have thought there has always been something different about me

Welcome MMLoveyou. Thanks for sharing with us. Are you pre-OP, or CD? You mention "if you'd been single". Are you married right now? Does your wife know of your gender identity journey? I wish you all the best.

You are not alone in feeling there's something different about you. Many of us on this board feel that way.
Welcome to the discussion side.
