ORIGINAL: PeonForHer I can't find anything that talks of evidence for that, PS. It seems like just another theory, so far. I just reported the report....... It was on the BBC web site earlier but doesnt seem to be now. "What we have done is actually look into the recording on the radar that we have and we realized there is a possibility the aircraft did make a turnback," Rodzali Daud, the Royal Malaysian Air Force chief, told reporters at a news conference." http://www.reuters.com/article/2014/03/09/us-malaysiaairlines-flight-idUSBREA2701720140309 The news hounds are going to be hungry for anything that the officials can offer up. That's understandable. Whatever: I would not jump to any conclusion - as indeed you haven't - about terrorist activity. From what I can make out, passengers with false passports are much more likely to be interested in emigrating or immigrating illegally than blowing up the plane, for instance. And from previous experience of planes vanishing - it could take literally years to find out what's happened. Actually, it's this point I can't quite get my head around. It's not just the plane's normal communications technology, plus its black box . . . there were no doubt lots of people on the plane who had mobile phones and other gadgets that are easy to locate. I thought that, in this day and age, it was easy to find anyone, including anyone in a plane who has one of these many gadgets.
