  i've been on anit-depressants for about a year and a half now and for a while they worked fine. But now they're not doing so well and my depression is becoming worse than it was before. i go from one mood to another and it's not only affecting me; it's affecting my Owners.
i've looked online for a psychiatrist that specializes in BDSM patients in San Diego with no luck. The majority seem to be in San Fransisco, which too far for me. Please, if anyone knows of one, let me know. i don't want to go to a regular psychiatrist and have them think i'm a freak. But i don't want to go to a regular psychiatrist and have them know only 1/2 of my life.
i appreciate any help anyone can give to me.

The National Coalition for Sexual Freedom maintains an active list of Kink-Aware Professionals; therapists, doctors and attorneys who are kink-friendly in nearly every state.  Visit http://www.ncsfreedom.org/kap/  and click on "If you are seeking a professional" to find someone in your area.

I checked and there are several therapists in San Diego who might be able to help you - even those who are not psychiatrists work with them in order to adjust medications when necessary.  Good for you for reaching out and looking for help.  I know it can be really scary, but you're doing the best thing possible for yourself.
