I've been staring at these pictures for about an hour now. Got nothing. Getting goofy. Leaving for a while, but thought I'd throw out something really dumb as a parting gesture:

Butterfields lamb lyin about his age

I may try again later...after my head stops spinning...

And around and around and around it goes!
Not a bad guess, Igor, but an incorrect one.
Although, you kind of have something going on with the age thing, in a sense.

To give everyone a hint, someone used to have this saying in their sig line.

Welcome back.
There will be no guesses from me of course, and your puzzle answer is safe with me.

Poise you could still help the clues along, if you like. We could tag team it, since I'm thinking about dreamland right about now!

Lion IS correct.

Well, just to try to keep this going (another off the wall guess with no real meaning):

a lamb has better(butter) days than an aging lion

As Hlen's official assistant on this puzzle, I am happy to announce that, although you don't have the correct answer,
you are getting closer.

Add better and day to the list of correct words.

I wonder if part of the slowdown here is due to some of the drama in other areas of Collar Chat. I think things will pick up again. I like the games where you have to actually do some thinking.

If this was your guess, and not a question to Igor, I have to bang the gong.
Think this or that.
(that was a hint)
