With all the moderation upheaval, I can't resist asking: Is it time to call the venerable XI out of retirement?

Status: offline 		Mod 11 would never be able to see anything that amounted to a violation. She was always much too bubbly and friendly, seeing only the good in everyone.

But, in all seriousness, I'll tell another story. I was one of several regular posters asked to come on board after Mod XI stepped down. So there I was, modding the boards one day (a job I only held for a short time), when I got a report ticket from the poster who used to be Mod XI. It was for something small, like "Post in Wrong Forum," but it was a humbling experience for me. Here was someone who was, frankly, hated on Fet, and who was forced to leave a position of power on CM, and, even so, stuck around and was trying to help.

That's why I have no patience for what is happening right now. The "insane," "capricious" former Mod XI behaved better than these people who are supposedly sensible and nice.

Status: offline 		This is one place where Fet appears to have an advantage of sorts. As that site is divided into individual groups, this kind of upheaval within a group would only affect that group. The fallout would not affect the whole site.
