MercTech -> Kincardine, ON, Canada query (4/10/2014 5:35:29 PM)
Anyone on from Canada know anything about the Kincardine area?
Got a query about a job there and I have no bloody clue and want to gather information in case the query turns to an offer.
Thanks

Small town right off the lake. If you like small town scenery and life, you'll love the place.

Just checked on google earth... looks great in the summer... but long winters sometimes as cold as 20 below... and feet not inches of snow on the ground for 4 months.

It's Canada. We have two seasons. Winter, and July.
You get used to it, really.

Missouri? I did a two year job just south of St. Louis. I know what you mean, Butch.
I was actually looking more to the socio economic view of Kincardine rather than climate. One hears so many horror stories of Detroit I wondered if the effects had spilled over the border.
