The BDSMwiki.info is self described as:
It is the mission of the BDSMwiki.info to collect knowledge and share around the globe about BDSM practices; to set forth its general systems of best practices, medical information, risk assessment and technical data to those who practice BDSM and those who wish to learn of it, and to transmit it to those who will come after us.
Currently the wiki features a very robust section on BDSM FAQ for beginners, a 101 section for those that are brand new, and some top level categories to help others navigate and explore.
Particularly I'm fond of the Theory Page as it gives a nice 201 by covering all the major concepts and then allows users to spider their way into areas that interest them.
The wiki is still very new and requires a lot of edits, and is no where near complete, but it does feature some very in depth articles, how to's, best practices, technical and medical information and more.

While many on CollarMe may not be interested in some of the SM or D/s aspects, both are covered extensively and articles are growing and being added daily. At this time it is only available in English. Yes we are aware others have made similar attempts in the past, it is our mission to exceed their efforts, and some ways we already have.
