Thank you again, Misty, for the warm welcome I got from you and others here. I started one new post, and commented on some others. That thoughtful first post was written while my kitten was asleep. When he's awake I'm constantly distracted and laughing my ass off at him, and I tend to type from that head space. So the formula for interpreting me via this medium is "Dr. Jekyll sane posts = cat is sleeping like an angel; Mr. Hyde insane posts = psycho cat is on a tear. I need to coordinate my online time with his naps, so I make more sense.

Don't worry, he's awake a LOT. During the time I typed the post above, I had to jump up twice to drag him off the mini-blinds. He's hell-bent on reaching the ceiling and thinks the wooden-slatted blinds are his Stairway to Heaven.

Misty, the few weeks I've been here has been enjoyable. I don't have a lot of time to be on-line but I get on when I can and I got rid of my ice cream cone the other day. :) Chwilfrydig, your posts are always a good read, don't go changing.

Inhisheart .....I very much enjoy your post and hope you will cont to post. You have helped to make the boards more fun to be on the past few weeks. Having you and Chwil so up beat is like a breath of fresh air. Glad you both found your way here. Look forward to more of your post.

I stuck my toe in Introductions this morning. I kept waiting for someone else to speak the obvious, but no one did and it needed to be said. A username that makes you laugh out loud, write it on a sticky and put it on your fridge next to "pregmant" needs to be addressed. He was shooting himself in the wankie, I mean foot, using a name like that. [sm=lol.gif]

CC is the abbreviation for Cat Compulsives - people who don't think they are obsessed or have a disorder just because they submit to their cats. We plan to take over this forum, btw. If you don't have a cat, you will only be allowed to post if you're wearing Hello Kitty pajamas.

The peaceful vibe is due to the "get banned for rules that no one knows exist". The happy new posters are mainly socks for the mods, trying to negate the disaster they instigated last month.

Actually, considering the age of that saying, i.e "My two cents." The actual amount of money you are putting in amounts to about $300,000 when accounting for inflation, devaluation of currency, and the simple fact two cents wont buy squat, not even penny candy which is now five cents.
