I don't remember what was showing the last time I went to a drive-in theater...but I do remember who I went with! In grade school I had one pretty good friend that was a girl. Half way through the sixth grade my folks moved to another town. Six years later, after high school, I and a friend went to a local swimming hole outside of the original town. There were two girls there, looking hot as hell in their bikinis. My friend and I were mostly just minding our own business, when I heard the two girls talking, and though she was all grown up now I still recognized her voice...my grade school friend! We got to talking, and the four of us decided to go to the drive-in that night. And like I said, I don't remember anything at all about the movie. Of the movies listed in the poll the only one I've seen is Escape From New York, but I didn't see it at the drive-in. When I was really young my cousin, who was quite a bit older than me, worked at the drive-in. I remember a number of times my folks would pack up the family and go see a movie. We'd pull up to the ticket booth, my dad would hand my cousin a five dollar bill, she'd hand back 5 ones, and in we'd go! And, do you remember those mosquito repellant coils that you would light to keep the mosquitoes away while watching the movie? I still remember the smell of those.
