I like Cthulhu All-Spark. ;)

That should be an interesting conversation when the kid gets older. Bet she eventually starts going by Cthulhu.

You mean you are old enough to remember "Heavy Metal?"

Did you see it in the theaters or on video?

I do not suggest watching the movie under the influence of certain organics because you will really have some bizarre (okay down right weird) generated in your mind by the movie.

LOL well in my ignorant youth, under the influence of our good friend Mary Jane,.or Jesse or whatever you want to call it was the only way I took in that movie. I tried to watch it years later stone cold sober . . . .no good. Though South Park did a pretty funny take off of it.

ShaharThorne -> RE: Thank god for sensible (sorta) parents! (4/23/2014 2:30:55 AM)

Used to have a copy on VHS and it vanished...once in a while until recently I like getting the magazine. Maybe I should find the DVD just to drive Mom crazy.

It did make me love Journey (Open Arms).

DaddySatyr -> RE: Thank god for sensible (sorta) parents! (4/23/2014 3:14:44 AM)

I saw the movie four times in one week; ripped to the tits, each time.

It was some time later that I saw Black Sabbath in Philthadelphia ("Mob Rules" tour DEC '81). I remember what Ronnie Dio had to say about the movie more than I remember the movie.

Screen captures still RULE! Ya feel me?

MasterCaneman -> RE: Thank god for sensible (sorta) parents! (4/23/2014 8:39:23 AM)

Shahar, I've got a copy and no VHS to play it on. Cmail me.

ShaharThorne -> RE: Thank god for sensible (sorta) parents! (4/24/2014 4:56:58 PM)

I no longer got a VHS player...my brother upgraded Mom to a DVD player and I am the one in charge of it.

MercTech -> RE: Thank god for sensible (sorta) parents! (4/24/2014 7:25:12 PM)

Being a long time "Heavy Metal" subscriber at that time I beat feet to the first show in my area. The movie didn't disappoint but the transition from comic to animation did suffer a bit in translation.

I think I wore out two copies on VHS.

But it's been an interesting trip down memory lane nonetheless....

or you can watch it for free,I know i used to be on youtube, and it's still on crackle,ect..the rights aren't worth squat,so the copyright police aren't as crazy bout moping it up off the web like other hard to find movies(like Zardoz or Meet the Feebles)
