I wasnt sure where this topic should have been posted so sorry if this is in the wrong place!

Does anyone else get hate messages in their inbox? Ive gotten quite a bit, which is very disappointing. You would think a BDSM community would be more open minded considering there are many different kinky people and fetishes out there!

I'm a Findomme for some, looking for finsubs for cuck relationships, and got a lot of hate for it. Calling me a "money hungry whore" and saying things like "go back on your street corner" or "oh look, another dumb c**t begging for money". Everything I do is consensual and my subs are all very willing and wanting to serve me.

I've even gotten a death threat from a fellow Domina, which was reported of course.

I feel as though findomming and cuckolding should be thought of as fetishes/kinks just as any other fetish/kink. I wouldn't dare go to someone page making fun of them or sending an angry message because they enjoy a kink that I dont particularly care for. Its just plain RUDE!

Anyway, I just wanted to know, am I the only one getting these types of messages?

The BDSM community is just a bunch of human beings. Some human beings are assholes. The internet allows assholes to say things they wouldn't dare to say in real life. So even on a kink site, you're going to get assholes behaving like assholes.

Not saying it's right - it's not - but it is unfortunately part of internet life. It's naive to think that what someone enjoys in bed makes them a better person.

Findomme is a kink as valid as any others. Unfortunately for you and all other people who get off on it, it's also a kink that some people think they can exploit to make easy money. That means a lot of people on the internet are jaded about the whole concept. Add to that the lack of lifestyle dominant women (meaning relatively few submissive men get the relationship they so badly desire) and you have a lot of very frustrated folks who have seen a million 'gimme free cash for nothing' profiles and decided to tar all findommes with the same brush.

Again, I'm not saying it's right. But if you want to be an online findomme then these are unfortunately occupational hazards. You will need to develop a thick skin.

Money can bring out the worst in everyone. As you have seen, just the thought of it gets some people pissed.

Money has been the root of all wars, fraud, etc. You have ventured into an occupation that, as Athena says, you need a thick skin for. Since you are the Domme, it comes back to your power of control. Your position takes the control and how you respond to this type of stuff shows on your dominance.

Oh, yeah, totally hate mail; mostly from 'doms' and others who I expect are mostly fat basement momma-lovin' pimply virgin dudes; lotsa rape-y enslave-y torture-y stuff. Latest one is going to cut off all my limbs and knock out my teeth and at least one eye and impregnate me so he could breast-torture me while I'm nursing.
And guys wonder why we don't respond to 'Hi' e-mails!

Helps to remember they're trying to find a chink in your defenses, so since body image is a common one, they'll strike at that to try to bring you down.
Remember when women got rights post-WW II? Then a few vocal men declared only the young slim unisex look is sexy. That lost its flavour, and now it's young slim unisex with breast implants to keep us off-kilter: what next: breast implants on the back?

So it helps to remember the vocal few who fear and hate lifestyle dominant women are just that: vocal, and few. It also helps to vent, so feel free on the forums; sadly, you're not alone. Laughter and reporting are the best offensive against trolls.

Unfortunately being a FinDomme makes you a target for hate mail. I'm not saying it's right and I personally think everyone should be free to be whatever they want. But sme people have nothing better to do with their time than to talk shit to people instead of minding their own damned business and letting people live their lives. It's just not worth it to give the assholes of the world that time out of your life.

Ignore their crap and do your thing [:)]

Sure. I've gotten some really insulting mail. I've been called a "fat cow," a "fat old granny" and a "stupid whore." The funny thing is I've lost 90 lbs, I'm not a grandmother yet and I'm also not stupid. For that matter I'm not a whore either. Some people...... shakes head [8|] Keep in mind, they are just pixels on a screen. Who gives a tiny rat's ass what they think of you anyway?

Hmmm, the only hate mail I've gotten was from one creature with a female profile that called me some really nasty names and ranted for over a page because I didn't have any naked pictures of my girl on my profile.

Frankly, I'm not selling her so I see no need to advertise. My profile is what it is in case someone sees something interesting and wants to strike up a conversation.

It wasn't hate, but it was unnecessarily rude. A woman on here was talking to me (being complimentary at first), then when I talked to her some about what I thought of being a pet she replied with "sad", which honestly makes no sense to me.

I think one posterer wrote something like "These are just pixels" writing you. and something about 'a thick skin."
