Introductions is a forum for new posters to tell other members a bit about themselves in an area where other members may welcome them without snark, correction, critique, reminder of guidelines, terms of service or judgment. This is a moderated forum and anything but a warm welcome will be removed. Positive discussion and encouragement is allowed and humor encouraged, as long as it doesn’t circumvent the area guidelines. Members may discuss or debate other topics in the other areas of the message board.
Those introducing themselves are asked not to advertise, use their profile text as their introduction, seek partners without any other information about themselves, create more than one introduction or use this area for anything other than an introduction. Posting of your email address (as long as it does in fact belong to you) and a link to your personal homepage is always welcome.
Please familiarize yourself with the other areas of the forum and the guidelines found at the top of each forum, as well as the Administrative Announcements of the message board, so that you know where it might be best to put any thread you start and have an understanding of basic form rules.

If any member finds something they believe is against guidelines or terms of service, they are welcome to report a thread or post, but are asked not to respond to it.
