This is a poem I wrote a few days ago. I loved how it turned out, no pun intended. The title is "Love is Love"

Love is a wonderful thing that can take many shapes and form,
and can be from any sort of person, whether tall, short, firm, or torn.
They can be someone we've known since we were a baby,
or someone we met recently, just maybe.
There are couples you will see that were high school love birds,
and those that met online, or at the chance of a word.
Some might be distant relatives and some co-workers,
and some might be of the same religion, faith-followers.
Some may be of the same sex, and some may not,
some might not even be near one another a whole lot.
They could be distant, yet closer than any other couple,
or they can be close and be getting to work, on the double.
But love is love, no matter what shape or form,
for as long as the feeling and compassion is there to be learned.
No matter what anyone says it is, believe in yourself,
for love is love, and always believe in it for yourself.
